Ceramic Seal Discs

Ceramic sealing discs, control discs, steering valves and other products, the working surface has a diamond-like hardness, acid and alkali solvent resistance, excellent reliability and long life. Solids carried in drinking water such as sand, rust and lime are ground between the surfaces of the ceramic disc sliding without affecting the sealing performance of the valve plug. After millions of motion cycles, there will be no signs of wear and will continue to precisely control the required water volume and water temperature in the spool – even in harsh conditions such as supply system pressure ratios and water temperature fluctuations.

In common case, the Ceramic Seal Disc are commonly made from Alumina Ceramic, Zirconia Ceramic and silicon carbide, they are regularly formed by dry pressed, hot pressed and isostatic pressed with very dense ceramic body. In order to enhance the sealing performance, the polishing finish at working surface and double-side grinding will be carried after sintering, afterwards, the mirror surface will be formed which will reduce the friction under working.
