Metallized Ceramics
For over 15 years, we have focused on producing high alumina, zirconia, and aluminum nitride Metallized Ceramics, which enables us to meet various customized needs. These advanced Ceramic Components are ideal for diverse ultra-high vacuum, high frequency, high voltage, high current, and high-pressure applications.
Ceramic Metallization makes the specific surface of the ceramic offer both metal and ceramic characteristics simultaneously. Therefore, the brazing sealing between the ceramic and metal alloys can be realized smoothly. We supply typical Mo/Mn covering with nickel and various types of metallization, such as Mo/Mn following with silver coating, W plus gold coating, or burning silver on the ceramic surface directly. We can be customized according to the client’s specifications.
Metalized Ceramics' reliability and dimensional accuracy are equally crucial in practical applications; either out of specifications may fail the entire vacuum device. To ensure that Metallized Ceramic Components can perform their functions well, the specific area of the ceramic body will be precision machined before metallization to ensure tight tolerances; after metallization, each batch of products will be tested for weldability, brazing strength, and hermetic according to higher than industry standards.
With our comprehensive capacity of mold design, mold production, metallization paste formulating, different types of pressing equipment, sintering, CNC machining equipment, metallizing, and automatic glazing production line, etc., we can quickly complete prototyping and realize high-volume mass production in a short time. We believe you can find exceptional solutions here if you search for metalized ceramics used in medical, electrical & electronics, and power and sensor industries.

METALLIZED AREA
Type 1
Metallization of end faces
We can metallize specific flat surfaces of ceramic parts. The most commonly used method is Mo-Mn metallization.
Type 2
Metallization on the outer circle
We can metallize the outer (curved) surfaces of cylindrical ceramic parts. The metallized ceramics can be welded with metals to make vacuum electronic devices.
Type 3
Metallization at designated locations
We can metallize designated parts of ceramics as per customer requirements. Ceramic metallization is an important step in realizing the welding of ceramics and metals.

RELIABILITY CONTROL OF CERAMIC METALLIZATION QUALITY
The main factors affecting the quality of ceramic metallization are the quality of the ceramic itself, the metallization formula, the particle size of the metallization powder, the thickness and uniformity of the metallization coating, the metallization temperature, and the quality of the nickel layer.
By analyzing the causes of the unqualified surface quality of metallized ceramics and taking corresponding solutions, the surface quality and yield rate of metallized ceramics can be effectively improved.
