Metallized Ceramic Substrate

Metallized Ceramic Substrates, also known as ceramic circuit boards, are obtained by metallizing the surface of the Bare Ceramic Substrate through technical means. According to different preparation principles and Ceramic Metallization processes, metallized ceramic substrates can be divided into two categories.

THIN-FILM CERAMIC SUBSTRATES

PRODUCTION PROCESS

There are many production processes for metallized ceramic substrates (ceramic circuit boards). Taking thin-film ceramic substrates as an example, its preparation process is to form a metal layer on the surface of the ceramic substrate through thin-film processes such as magnetron sputtering and vacuum evaporation. Then, through processes such as masking and etching, a specific metal pattern is formed.

APPLICATION

Thin-film ceramic substrates have the advantages of low operating temperature, high bonding strength, excellent thermal conductivity and precise wiring accuracy.
